The Black Angel is a little club in Halle, a very particular and sometimes strange city near Leipzig. And the occasion was important ... Seeing Tony Wakeford and Barditus live, a man and a band that I really like. Maybe it was also because a period that I am listening
a lot to "in the rain" so I was very happy when I knew that Tony was like 100 kms from where I live.
The concert starts with Barditus from Halle, a more acoustic show than the one in the last WGT but for me more intensive and direct. All the songs were full of feelings and passions into a more minimal way. I like Barditus a lot and also Orplid, this bands are very evocatives and always play with the heart.
Than, after more than an hour, was the Tony moment. I read on the flyer, that there was also a violinist, but that night Tony was alone. Alone with a CD...I think. There was a mix of old and new song (but not "come the morning", one of the song I like more), and the acoustic was perfect - also during the concert before - and a lot of silence. One hour of suggestions and memories and a very inspired Tony ending this particular night, a night
of feelings that most of the humanity have lost.
